Mathieu awoke at his usual time of 6:50 speaking of his favorite meal of the day: Breakfast. We often make oatmeal, and Mathieu loves to be involved in the process. He takes out the hot plate, the oatmeal, walnuts, strawberries, and banana. He pushes his stool right next to me and eats small handfuls of each of the ingredients as I cut them. This morning, we decided to eat the oatmeal out on the dock. What a treat! Mathieu was delighted to be outside and exchange pleasantries with me as he ate a huge bowl of oatmeal.
