Every day Mathieu seems to polish a motor skill. When he first became interested in holding objects, he would bat at them, sometimes grabbing and sometimes missing. Then he could grab a toy with accuracy, but only if it was in front of him. Now Mathieu is an expert at the grab/hold/shake/throw/ toy game, and he's begun inching towards his goal!Here is a picture of Mathieu grabbing Daddy's leg hair.Mathieu has also begun to eat solids. We started him out on avocado, proceeded to sweet potatoes, (which he inhaled!), moved to peas and bananas, and just last night he had his first taste of rice cereal. We've been making all our own baby food using the trusty blender.
