1. Leaping from rock to rock to cross a river: At one point, the distance from one rock to the next was too far, but we found an old board to aid us. Tricky part -- the board was far away and very heavy. It took much teamwork to ferry it to the needed spot, and we successfully made it to our snack rock.
2. Rope Swing: While canoeing down the Big River in Coventry, RI, we happened upon a rope swing. This was not so much a physical challenge, but one of bravery and courage. We had to contend with traversing a mucky river bottom and a steep climb up a thorny bank. The swing was worth it!
